Blog Question: Is bullying a rite of passage of childhood and adolescence? Is it apart of the maturation process one needs to go through to reach adulthood? Explain. Mrs. Hogeboom brings up this topic on page 108.
I don't think bullying is part of the process of growing up. A lot of kids growing up who are getting bullied just have a lot of anger and hatred and I think they can grow up to be pretty violent if they are pushed around a lot when they are young. Sometimes it might be part of growing up and being mature to realize your decisions and learn the difference between right and wrong, and the victim can learn about being careful with dangerous people and to be cautious of what you say and do, but bullying still affects a lot of kids when they're growing up.

I do agree that it disturbs their growing up process. I know that bullying may involve some physical violence and that may make the victim scared; possibly paranoid. I agree with you in some points but not all.
People that are bullied suffer alot. But don't you agree that there are slight benefits? I'm sure practically no one has not been bullied [pardon my wording]. Don't you think that if you're not bullied you would be considered a "freak"? Yes, you probably have been bullied as well. Me too. We all hate it. But hey, it is good guys and bad guys, no?
